Known for its history, culture and natural beauty, there’s no better way to explore the Aegean coastline of Turkey than on a handcrafted gulet. We’ll get off the traditional tourist path as we head for the pine clad mountains and clear blue seas of the Turquoise coast.
Once again, Jenny has rented our privately owned gulet East Meets West for your private charter. The trip is only open to singers – to make the admin easier for Jenny you can book your place directly with us, just press the Book Now button.
Time and time again we are told just how special this holiday is; being immersed in nature from the minute you arrive to the minute you leave. Pine clad mountains, turquoise coves, ruins from Lycian, Hellenistic and Roman periods;turtles, nomads, nesting storks, thermal baths, river cruising. Ah, don’t forget the fabulous singing, hiking if you want to, even more fabulous food and simply life onboard.

New oak handrails and sidings hand crafted during the pandemic means that the aft deck is more spacious and comfortable for eating and socialising.
Cabins on are smaller than you’d expect in a hotel but larger than on a sailing yacht. They are handcrafted from mahogany, iroko, teak and pine so are rustic but are clean and have a small wardrobe with storage under the bed for luggage. Every cabin has a private en-suite bathroom with toilet, hand basin and shower; hot water is available in the evenings. One bath towel and one hand towel are provided; a beach towel is also provided.
With plenty of sunbeds on the fore and aft decks choose how to relax; sunbathing, reading, chatting or perhaps you’ll even sleep here under the stars. Meals are usually taken on the aft deck where you have a different view for almost every meal.
Join Jennifer Goodman, who specialises in acapella harmony singing from across the globe, for a singing journey every day in this peaceful environment – sometimes on the teak decks of the boat in a pretty cove; sometimes amongst ancient Greek and Roman ruins or in the garden of a once nomadic family.
She’ll get your voice, breath and body moving with simple warm ups before whisking you away to the harmonies of Africa and the South Seas and then returning you to home shores.
Low to Intermediate Hiking is optional.
The walks won’t exceed 4 or 5 miles and may be shorter, but the terrain is rocky, stony and uneven. There are some steep sections over loose trails; some narrow coastal paths and such sections require care.
You will need a reasonable level of fitness to participate in the optional hikes.
Appropriate footwear must be worn (trainers are not enough). If you like to hike and want to join the optional walks you need to bring a rucksack, hiking boots/shoes (with/without ankle support), hiking poles are very useful. Bring a refillable, reusable container for water.
